Repeat after me: It was all a dream.

Can we all admit now that Trump is ruining our country?

I feel like there can be no reasonable defense for him at all anymore.

And as much as I get the utmost pleasure when I am right about something, it’s not even about that.

I am so genuinely worried about what he will do next.

I think I speak on behalf of most of us when I say no one cares about whose side is “right” anymore.

No one cares if you’re a Democrat or a Republican or a liberal or a socialist or a Martian, we just need to stand together and get rid of this menace.

I know a lot of people who voted for Trump who aren’t any of the ugly insults people have thrown at them.

They are Christ followers who are against abortion. They are people frustrated with the way politics have always been and wanted something different that Trump promised. They are people who care fiercely about the well-being of children and wanted child-trafficking stopped – only to now discover that Trump has been a part of it all with his good friend Jeffrey Epstein.

He lied to everyone.

Let me be the first person to tell you how much I respect you for changing your mind instead of digging your heels in just so you don’t appear “wrong”. You weren’t wrong, you just trusted him. And now he has broken that trust over and over again.

So please, can we all pretend it’s 1986 and we’re Pamela Ewing waking up to Bobby in the shower and realizing his death was all a dream?

Or maybe it’s more accurate in these times to pretend we’re Bob Newhart waking up next to Suzanne Pleshette and telling her all about his bizarre dream of running an inn in Vermont with a blonde wife and knowing these three brothers named Larry, Darryl & Darryl.

Either way, let’s all wake up – ok?
