Ahhh the summer of 2020. I’ll look back at it as a time when the pandemic & election made me lose my mind.

Just like George Costanza had ‘The Summer of George”, I’ll fondly remember it as, ‘The Summer of Tiffy”, when insults flew out of my mouth faster than a Noah Syndergaard slider.

But a new season has begun and it’s time to find my long-lost mind.

I still strongly believe that some people need to be put in their place; but the problem is, we live in a society that thinks when people pepper their statements with: “sorry for the rant, I’m just frustrated” or “I’m not blaming them, but…”, everyone is supposed to send them “virtual hugs” and give them sympathy, while forgetting that they’re actually shitting all over another person or establishment.

Then someone like me comes along and tells them to STFU, and I’m considered the one who showed their ass in public.

Unfair, but also not a good look.

So I’ll just go back to the way things were before. I’ll say the exact same stuff, but do it behind their backs; you know, the more “sane” and stand-up way to be. Maybe I’ll even send a “virtual hug” instead of a real life F YOU from now on 😁

I came to this realization because PJ and I finished all 5 seasons of the show Outlander this week. My parents watch it and said it was like “soft core porn” so naturally, I was grossed out yet intrigued.

They were right – it is like soft core porn! And every time they were about to do it (the characters, not my parents 🤮) PJ and I would sing:

to the rhythm of the intro of Slow Ride by Foghat 😂

But now that our soft core porn show is over, we had to find something else to watch, and we stumbled upon Million Dollar Beach House on Netflix.

It’s a reality show and it’s terrible but it sucked us in immediately. They’re supposed to be real estate brokers, but we’re convinced they just hired some wanna-be actors and models to pretend they are.

There’s one girl who is constantly telling everyone to fuck off, and the guy she usually fights with always keeps his cool.

Guess which one I identify with.

Now guess which one I wish I was like instead.

It was embarrassing to see myself in her 😬 Can you believe I learned a life lesson from an abhorrent reality show?? 😂😂

So going into my favorite season 😍 THE FALL 😍 I’m turning over a new leaf (pun intended), and will no longer be showing my ass in public. But don’t worry, we’ll still get to see some when Outlander is back 😂
